Last Friday [12/8] I was honoured to play my harp at the official launch for the charity Dignity, supporting local people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. This was held at Centennial Vineyards Restaurant and hosted by ABC Radio presenter Simone Thurtell, NSW minister for women and mental health Pru Goward, Dignity CEO Suzanne Hopman and Dignity chairperson Dr Michelle Mulvihill. We were treated to inspiring talks and a moving video presentation while enjoying delicious high tea.  Hearing about the creation of this wonderful service from the passionately committed Suzanne Hopman was enthralling. Dignity opened their first residence in February, and we were fortunate to hear from Emma, one of their first guests, about her journey from challenging circumstances to a positive outcome with the loving assistance of the Dignity team. That they use the term "guest" beautifully reflects the Dignity commitment to equality and respect. For more info: www.dignity.org.au
